I was looking for a Glasworks front bumper for my 76 and I haven't been able to find any. Are there any other aftermarket bumpers, other than the 80's style bumper, that are available?
I'm thinking that your looking for something that will change the look of your car. As replacement front bumper covers are readily available.
Perhaps Glasworks found they couldn't stay in business selling one or two bumpers a year.
People who are talented at making up molds and fibreglass work, (We have a guy like that in Brisbane Australia), can make you just about anything you want.
However, for a one off project like that you would have the cost of making a mould included in the price of the bumper. You may as well buy a 72 model car at that point.
ACI offers excellent replacement bumpers. And a few custom hoods as well as a number of replacement fibreglass parts for our cars.
i think this is what you're looking for , i have it on good authority they are no longer being made for several reasons. it was supposed to be a part time , every now and then thing and it turned in to a 50-60 hour a week job and he still couldn't keep up with up with demand , material cost went through the roof , shipping crate material went through the roof and shipping itself went through the roof. throw in a triple bypass and it was time to call it enough.
Do you know if Glasworks would be interested in parting with the molds required to do the conversion? Seems like there is plenty of interest in the exact geometry this conversion provided.

Don - the triple bypass alone is reason enough! That, and nobody is owed a reason
You have a great eye for the lines of the car. In your opinion, is anything else on the market similar to what you previously created? I find the usual 80-82 swap to be too sudden of an upward swoop.
Millie74 , to the best of my knowledge there is nothing out there like it , the conversions that are available look cartoonish and exaggerated ( in my opinion ). that is the reason the glasworks conversion ever existed , its the only one that i know of that is as correct as it could be to the bumper cars styling and dimensions. there are some significant differences between bumper cars and the rubber cars bodies and compromises had to be made , but i think the overall look is pretty close with no exaggeration. i hope someone will step up and make something like it , the demand is there

Ran across this looking for a kit for my 73. I bought it this spring and it has a 75 -77 fromt clip on it so thought no harm in something custom but looks like its not available anymore.
