I assume this to be a nose emblem from a C3 but it was in a box of mixed parts, and I do not know. doing a preliminary search on the internet I am not finding an exact match. Anyone know what year and placement would be?
EDIT: 77 or 79 Nose, 77 gas door emblem, 79 gas door emblem, or 77-79 side fender emblem.
I don't know if the studs are different on the back, or just the flag angle, or what, but they are four different part numbers, at least at Zip Corvette.

It seems to have a slight angle and would not be flat enough to fit right on a gas tank lid I don't think. I looked at some of the 77 to 79's online and it is close to them but some differences. The black, white squares in the flag pattern is different and the bowtie is different in that it is more truncated on the one I have. Could just be an early late thing I guess?
