Rightly or wrongly I am led to believe that the header trim piece is unique for a '68. Is that true and if so what is different about the '68 than later production?
Not sure about the 68 but there is a difference starting in 78 and it has to do with the mirror mounting. ANd I didn't realize it until I looked at the price to replace the 78 which was way more than 77 and earlier.
I think that they are the same. I think that there is a coupe version and a convertible version. The big difference is the sun visors are 68 only and are held differently. Lou.
