Fills in the gap along the bottom where there's a gap from the belly with the 2 main air holes goes up to the rad support and prevents the air from ducking down under the rad

If you crawl under the nose and look in through the air holes you will see where it goes. It makes a huge difference. I black silicone mine in in my 68
