Front spring compressor for C2. C3
Can anyone recommend a compressor for front spring replacement? What have you used that helped make this an easier job? Thanks in advance!

Threaded rod through the shock absorber hole.

I suck at posting links on my phone. So here's a screen shot of a thread you should be able to find.
Take a look see if you can find this. You may find it helpful.

Go to auto zone. Advanced or oreilly. They loan these tools out if I recall.

I didn’t use a compressor, just the jack under a arm then lower to let spring out..
then reverse.
here is my learnings
good time for bushings if needed

But just in case put a piece of chain thru the spring and around the frame to make sure the spring doesn't "jiggy" as you pry it out.

I used 1/2” threaded rod with thick fender washers large enough to cover the shock holes top and bottom.
Double nuts on one end to lock them and turn down the top nut.
The oem springs collapsed easily, but I still ran a chain through the spring for a safety measure.
