If the car has been frame-off restored, you assume it has been properly put back together. If $60k was spent on restoration alone, letting it go for only $37k makes me wonder why. Best have it checked out before buying.

Hagerty puts the value of a '73 L82 Coupe in #2 excellent condition at $30k.

Who takes a $23k hit on a car like that after only a few years? Something smells fishy here. I wold have it thoroughly inspected by a professional or a VERY trusted corvette shop. GL

not sure about 60k frame off
does happen that owners put in more money than car can sell for and some are
exaggerating real dollars for, retail type dollars.
some of the best deals come from owners who go wild and realize they
are not going to break even and certainly not going make money.
should be easy enough to see just what was done.

$60K would be a very cheap frame-off restoration even five years ago.
I've put lots more $ into mine than it's worth, but it was worth it to me. I think that's pretty common, especially with what shops charge for work.
