I have a '71 LT1 Roadster and need to order some interior parts and need to determine whether the color is light saddle or dark saddle. What numbers on the VIN indicate this and what are the codes for those two colors?

417 is saddle color in vinyl, 420 is saddle color in leather. There’s no light or dark for 1971.

You'll find your interior color trim tag on the front side of your driver side door jam.

Thanks and that's what I thought but some of the Corvette parts suppliers have both light and dark listed as options for 1971.
