Moog Ball Joints
Hi. I've opened the boxes on the recently arrived Moog ball joints.
No surprises with the lower ones, but the tops come with an "extra" shroud-type piece, pictured here:
Based on the on line instructions, this part is fitted below the A-Arm. However, the instructions clearly have a "generic" element as they mention Ford and Chrysler applications.
As far as I'm aware, this piece isn't mentioned in the AIM and I don't see it on my car. Am I expected to fit it ,or is it only for certain other makes?

I just did mine and i put the joint down in the arm then put that piece on...i sandwhiched the control arm between the two..dont know if right but its working..
