Default Maxjax Owners-Post Spacing?

How far apart are you spacing the posts to lift a C3?

Excellent question Richard. I show 115" from the hole with the concrete dust on it to its counterpart on my install. I could just get my C6 up in the air with this spacing but I doubt my C8 will fit and I don't even want to try it. Additionally I can get my daughter's Infinity uip on the posts as well.

there is a huge forum in the 'garagejournal' on MaxJax. Here's my post

https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/...8#post-1493656

but you can browse forever on that subject and many others that are garage related there.

My anchors are fine with the wejit type anchors but were I to do this again it would be with epoxy,

What? Did you read the second post? Depends on your reference but mine was the bolt in the middle of the base plate.

Ceiling height is constrained by the rafters and garage door. So maybe 8'. I did change the horizontal sweep of the garage door to be slanted to clear the antenna.

The concrete was maybe 3" thick, 50 years old and cracking. I dug out, re-enforced and re-poured an H-shaped foundation. Look here for details:

Sorry, Ignatz. I did read your post, but I don’t have access to computer at the moment nor my glasses. I had thought originally you made yours to fit a C6 not a C3 but apparently your C3 fits also.

I sensed there could be some confusion in my post so I thought the picture should make things clear. Here's the other car:

Notice the jacks? Safety first always. I actually have never seen any creep in the anchors but what the heck.

Hay,, sorry, life got in the way. A new grandson is here...
So mine is 8'5" appart at the base plate. It's fine for my C3 and C5. It's in a small one bay garage but it's a life saver. I have four lifts at work shop so if I need room I'll go there.
I used these bolts because they exceed the specs from MaxJax for anchors and are re-useable. I used 4.5" at home. I have these longer ones for thicker concrete. I've used this style for decades in construction without issues.

Just my ideas to make installing and removing easier....
