Default 1968 Rear Window lock/latch

Anyone have NOS, Used reproduction, any really or know anyone that might have a 1968 rear window latch lock? 1969-1972 changed and are rounded on one side where as the 68 was square. Attaching pictures for comparison. Looking to purchase 1.

Do you need this for an NCRS car? Lou.

They changed the handles because they would snap off. I speak from experience. I do not understand why GM changed the mounting to only the two side tab screws. The original ones also had the two screws on the extended front tab in your picture. You show one 68 latch with a missing side tab? How did that come about? I once found a 69 derelict body with the 68 latch on it. Lou.

It is not for an NCRS car. You can see the restoration project on Corvette forum Hugh's 1968 corvette.

Interesting story, I have both original latches, one works and is in working condition, the other is broken, but the working one does not snap off. The picture I posted are not my two, but just a picture for reference and yes, in the picture, one has a missing mounting tab.
