Hi, can anyone clarify this for me.
My 72 has an aftermarket elongated hood the previous owner(s) removed the wiper door.
Will a 73-hood fit or is the slope near the cowl different?

The previous owner of my '68 basketcase convertible installed a 1976 style hood.
He fabricated fender corners to match the angle and extra lenght of the '76 hood.
If you didn't know better you would think it was a factory fit.

The later hood wont line up. I tried it. Someone on hebay that sells the extended hoods also make the fender extensions. Its not a bolt on mod.
