‘71 base small block axle ratio
I’ve searched on this forum and I haven’t found an answer to this question. My ‘71 base small block, 4 speed, no ac car has a 3.36 posi. The code on the differential is LR. My question is:
Is this the standard ratio for this car, or was the 3.08 ratio standard and 3.36 was an option? There is a ZQ1 RPO code for ‘71, which is “optional axle ratio”.But I can’t find ant information on what ratio the option provided. Thx in advance for any info.
