Default 1969 radiator?

Restoring a 69 corvette. The radiator says Harrison and in pretty good condition. Not sure if i should replace it with an aftermarket. My question is this

an an actual Harrison radiator or a knock off or what?
the tag is on the radiator fins and reads.

195. 75
3R10250
Made in Mexico

If you have a local raditor shop take it to them and have them re-core it.

Harrison is the OEM radiator GM used for years.

It looks very much to be original. Just sold mine so I can't help much beyond what is in these photos

I do have a correct shroud for sale.

Dewitt’s sells the correct core for that radiator. A radiator shop can take the tanks off and then solder them to the new core.
Your drain is incorrect too for a 69.

or you can order a direct replacement that will drop in also from Dewitt’s.
I looked a long time for decent tanks so I could maintain originality. However, the Dewitt replacements cool better

Is that a big block or small block radiator? It looks like a small block (26" wide core) for a 350/350 or 4 speed AC car to me, but the big block (27" core) is similar, though a little wider and if I remember right the lower outlet is mounted higher.

If you're doing an NCRS type restoration, or just want to keep the car as close to stock or original as possible, I would consider having the radiator re-cored. Dewitts does not make reproductions of the 69 Harrison copper radiators, just very nice and efficient replacement radiators that differ some from the original radiators. The only Harrison exact reproduction Corvette radiators that Dewitts makes is the 19" aluminum one for no air small block 4 speed cars, a 66 copper 427 one and a copper 67-68 427 radiator, all their other radiators are replacement styles from their "Direct-Fit" and "Pro" Series. Dewitts use to make a reproduction copper core for the 27" big block radiators but it's no longer listed in their current (2024) catalog, and I don't remember them ever making the small block 26" core.

Thanks. Im leaning towards buying a Dewitt. Its going to be a driver so originality isnt a priority.

if you call Dewitt’s, they will order a copper core for a BB Harrison radiator.
I ordered one about 6 months ago ?
Im sure they could get a small block too.
