I'm looking at a 1970 Marlboro Maroon LS5 'Vert, auto, A/C, PS, PB , black soft top, and black vinyl interior. Numbers matching with 72k documented miles in very nice driver condition and everything works and looks correct. I previously owned a Top Flight '70 L46 4sp Vert in the same colors so I'm familiar with '70's; I'm just trying to get handle on value of an LS5 auto.

Thanks.
I just bought one with a 4 speed and no air. I also started with a 70 L46! I missed it since the day I stupidly sold it. Condition is everything. The one I bought I had thought was more cared for but I hadn't seen it for 10 years and it I found a lot of things that immediately needed work. I'm still sorting. I think I overpaid at 36k, but it's an unrestored car. I was spoiled by the L46 car which was like going back in time.
Hi fortim, from what I've seen, Hagerty is often a bit high, and 'Corvette NDA' is often a bit low. As Sevnt6 mentioned, Hagerty is at $44.6k with a/c for a #3 good condition. Corvette DNA shows $30.5 for 'driver', and $38.5 for 'excellent' (and $64k for 'show'). I suspect that, if everything checks out and there isn't rust, a decent price would be in the mid-upper 30s. But it could also go a lot higher or a bit lower. Hard to tell without some pics. Sounds like a nice car!
