33 is silver but typically was used with a different lower body color. 33U/38L or 33U/39L.
I've been looking online for trim codes and what I'm finding is 13 for silver. Now my understanding is both U and L are used on the trim tag,the car is one color so 33U-33L upper/lower but why am I finding 13 for silver?

When production began at Bowling Green all the paint and trim codes changed, and the format of the trim tag changed too. Very few places on line or in print have the correct Bowling Green paint and trim codes, other than the NCRS 80-82 Judging Manual. Prior to the publication of the Judging Manual in the late 90's, I don't believe the codes had ever been published. I was part of the team that created the Judging Manual and I spent quite a bit of time researching the Bowling Green codes for the judging manual. I eventually found an original June 81 Corvette Order Form for Bowling Green that included all of the color and trim codes for Bowling Green.
The first code on Bowling Green trim tags is the interior code. The interior trim code on all Bowling Green trim tags is made up of two numbers followed by an "I". The Bowling Green trim tags do not identify cloth or leather, so all we know from the tag is that "29I" is a Dark Blue interior. You'll see places that list 81 trim codes followed by a "C" for cars with cloth interiors, but every original cloth interior 81 I've ever looked at had the "I" in the code, not "C".
Bowling Green paint codes include either two or three color codes. Cars painted in a solid color like yours show "33L 33U" for for Silver Metallic Upper and Silver Metallic Lower. If your car had been built in one of the four available Two-Tone combinations, such as Silver Metallic over Dark Blue Metallic the tag would have read "33L 33U 39M", "39" being Dark Blue Metallic. The "E" at the end of the line on the tag indicated the paint used was Enamel.

Thank you for the info, greatly appreciated. I've never been one of the NCRS crowd but I am tempted to take it to one of the NCRS shows if somebody would be interested in seeing it. Cars got 4600 miles, only thing not original if the battery and the muffler tips. I just bought this so a major tune up is in the works,I plan on keeping the original parts that come off the car.
