You're right, it is the driver's side support. The passenger side contains that support built into the vacuum linkage. I found it on p.88 in the AIM. It has the letter H stamped into it. The below fastener secures it to the firewall.
Since I am going to try to sell that whole movable door business and my hood, I will keep it with the rest of that stuff.

Me too. About the same number of pages in the AIM probably. Since I have lots of family photos too, I've lately been sorting my car pictures into named folders to prevent endless doom scrolling.
