I've had my '70 Coupe for a few years now, but it's time for me to sell her. She's got 55 years of history behind her (with multiple owners) and hopefully a bright future ahead with a new one. When I bought the coupe I was excited to fix what I could and have a mechanic do what I couldn't. I really was excited to own and drive a chrome bumper Vette. Now, the "spark" has left me and I'd rather have cars that don't require so much "attention." I still have a much more modern 2010 C6 coupe, and really enjoy that. I'll hang out in that forum in the future. I've learned the vintage Corvette community (on Corvette Forum) is a very dedicated group with a lot of knowledge to share. Long story short...too late I know, I won't be posting within this C3 section after my '70 sells. I've got her listed for sale on this forum, Hagerty, Auto Trader Classic, and Corvette Car Place. See ya on down the road...
All the best to you moving forward. I recently sold my C6 2009, to go back to my “roots” C3’s owned first one out of high school in 77, just something about the C3’s……
Understandable. Sometime we just need to mix things up. I have had my ‘75 for 33 years now. Got some ideas on what I want to do with it but motivation waxes and wanes.
I got tired of the Corvette thing too. I sold my 68 convertible a year ago for a bit more than I had in it. I owned it 5 years and was the most trouble free hot rod I'ver ever owned. It was very fast and too dang loud. I did replace it with a 33 Ford 3 window though.

nice ride... looks like a Factoty Five build... i finished one a few years ago along with a Gen 3 Cobra.

interestingly, i sold my 04 commemorative convertible and went back to my roots, buying a 1969 convertible similar to the one i had back in the early 1970's. additionally i am in the process of building a 1938 Ford p/u street rod being built Ford tough with all GM (for the most part) parts, lol. 383 stoker built from a 4 bolt 1969 corvette block that is .030 over, ported and polished, comp thumper cam, patriot aluminum heads, high rise dual quad intake manifold and camaro style 4 wheel disk brakes. you can never have enough fun toys, lol.
good luck with your sale and enjoy life however you choose.
Good luck. I am on my 4th Vette and have had C3, C4, and C5’s.
I have thought about going the 80’s Jeep CJ restoration thing, but then I take my 74 four speed for a drive and remember why I love the C3’s.
Why can’t you just keep the 70 and get another one?
I sold my Factory Five 33 Hot Rod then bought my 73 Corvette.
Huge mistake.
I will probably sell my 73 as soon as it’s completed and buy another Factory Five.
Either another 33 or a 65 Daytona Coupe.

Have you seen the new Factory Five Mk5 Cobra? Optional hardtop that looks good. New frame with room for big guys. And an option for the 7.3 Godzilla motor.
Really guys FF5 cars are better than a well sorted out corvette? And as for the Godzilla engine Yep they named it right just like Zilla big heavy and slow
