Default C3 interior

Any chance someone knows if a 1979 interior will fit into a 1970 interior - maybe not bolt/screw in, but fit within the dimensions?

I put 1981 Seats in my 1974. Standard seats fit, power will not accept power seats as the 78-82 floor boards have a large resesses to fit the power units.
1978 Door panels did not fit the 74. as locks and door release are different.

And dash boards are different styles. Not sure if they would cross over.

Most of the ‘Vette vendors give out free catalogues. When looking at certain parts, they will list out like “1968-1977” Which means that part will fit any one of those years. Not sure if that helps or not, but hope it does. I know ‘68’s and 69’s had quite a few one year only parts, but from there out to quite a bit later, many parts can interchange.

Some parts will and some parts will not. The center console is somewhat different. But, I'm sure you can "make it fit" with some "adjustments".
