Default Gas pedal

The gas pedal on my 1970 seems really close to the floor. This is the second C3 I have ever driven. The other being a 1980. I don't recall if that was like this one. The doesn't fully show what I think I'm feeling.

I suspect the accelerator pedal rod is bent from people MASHING it hard. Quite common on C3's

A lot of folks had that issue....you can pull it out and bend it back to shape.
Begore you do, if you have bare cable at the carb, put a tiny ziptie around the cable snugly so it can slide. Push it towards the drivers compartment until it hits the housing or the bracket. With the engine hot so the choke is disengaged, Push the pedal to the floor. Go back and look at the ziptie and see how much travel you have. If you have a quadrajet push open the air flap and look down the throat, then open the throttle until the ziptie hits whatever stopped its travel the first time. This eill tell you if you have wide open throttle or not. If not you have an idea how much to bend the pedal arm. Dont try and bend it in the car. You might break the mount
