1968 Rear Window Restoration
Hello, I am in the process of resetting the rear glass into the frame. Can anyone tell me what the thickness and the width of the glass setting tape is and where to get it?. I just replaced the weatherstrip for the rear glass. While attempting to install and clamp the frame back in, the bottom part of the frame came loose because of the pressure it was taking to clamp it down. I have seen pictures of the bottom of some frames and not only do they have roll pins set at 45 degrees to hold it together they also are screwed to the top half of the frame at each end. My 68 does not have these screws. Maybe they were added in the later years. I plan to add them to mine to make the frame stronger. Any tips on installing the tape? Don
