Default Old Mans New 80

I sold my C4 about 15 months ago, great car but getting hard for me to get in and out of (i'm 78) so i thought i would replace it with a C3, had a bunch of them and they are my favorite fun car. It had been 10 years or so since i had one and i struggled to find one i liked that was close by and fairly priced. This old 80 turned up on FB Marketplace a few days ago and I got hold of the people, they got back to me last night and I went out North of town a few miles and bought it. Runs and drives and stops good, nice looking Sunday driver condition, proper repaint that is a solid 8 and as you can see from the pictures lots of room for improvements in the engine compartment and interior, lots of electrical gremlins, going to be fun to clean up. Happy to be back in a C3.

Good on ya Irvin. I an 74 and bought my first c3, a 76, last November. Been doing a lot of work on it, mostly replacing rubber components, and repairing the inop ammeter. Have fun!

Something to do with your time.....after you get up late and eat your oatmeal.

(It's OK; I can say that.....I'm 80. )

OK...OK.....I just celebrated the 41st anniversary of my 39th birthday....

Apparently, I still have adrenaline flowing thru my veins. I enjoy that every time I "pound the pedal" on this Z .
