Sorry to hear that. I'll measure my new harnesses before installation & compare to the originals. Thanks for the heads up!
I've had the "new" harness for years stored in the basement still in original bags, but I doubt any manufacturer returns or refunds would be possible after so long. Hopefully none will be needed....

LL is a great vendor with superb reproduction products & stand behind what they sell. If there is an issue, even maybe an older one, i'm sure they will fix it. I have had nothing but great experiences with them over the years !!
Curious what year car it is ? Maybe it's one of those 1 year only "1968" bugs ???
Gonna be a while until I can install my LL harnesses (front to back in storage). Hoping I do not see this issue.
Maybe on top of the calls, start sending emails, outlining what you did above (who you spoke to and when) may help? I also have heard good things about them, so hoping the best outcome for you.
FYI...
It sucks messing with OEM, but most of the time you end up with a better part/harness access.I hated to splice into a new harness, but another member added 12" + to each set of gauge subharnesses with quik release connecttor joining the collected gauge wired to to extended subharnesses.
Now I can "Pull" any gauge assembly out of the dash leaving it attached to the extended harness for gauge repairs and testing. It saves a lot of work and fighting with Oem harness which are short to begin with.
Following this thread, I just purchased their restomod series harness and hope there's no issues. I assume based on price that's a direct replacement harness yes? Keep us posted on vendor responses/resolutions, thanks and good luck...

That might have been me. For instance, all the electrical light bulbs in the tach/speed dash panels...for instance all the gray wires...are bundled together with a separate multi pin connectors. A corresponding multi pin connector connects all the wires to the main behind the interior firewall main harness. When, I install the tach/speedo dash panel, I just snap the two connectors together and tuck the two wire harnesses up behind the panel. No laying on the back trying to push in all the gray wire light bulb connector into the tach and speedometer housing.
I use OEM appearing connectors for a factory appearance.
Always a good idea to make complete comparisons of original and replacement harnesses before installation. Sounds like LL quality may still be 'good', but not what it used to be. These days, vintage car aftermarket part "quality" is sorely lacking, to say the least.
Having to extend a couple of wires on your LL wiring harness is a PITA and a nuisance, but the new harness will still be a big improvement, I'm sure. Not sure what alternative there is to LL on such parts. We feel you pain.
Yes, very disappointing. When I called months ago about the kickdown harness being short I got scolded by LL telling me I put the engine harness in wrong. Well I didn't, had to add wire.
Now i call about the dash harness, and I'm told basically...that just doesn't happen.
So my original message is basically a public service announcement.
I heard some rumblings that LL’s quality had slipped down a rung or two over the past years.
I found an alternative American Auto Wire who makes direct replacement harnesses for our C3’s and they also offer a Restomod harness for modified C3’s like mine.
I haven’t installed mine yet but it should be soon and I’ll report my satisfaction or not!
Another company that had good reviews was Francis Drake who also produces C3 harnesses.

Funny thing is if you dig deep enough & do some research you will find that Letric Limited manufactures these harnesses & many other parts for most of the catalogue houses & parts resellers !!! Over the years I have ordered items from a catalogue & and received Letric Limited products. Some are manufacturers others are merely distributors.
FWIW I installed a LL engine harness a couple years ago in my 71 and everything fit perfectly. also if you look at the restomod harness on LL's and American autowire's websites they have the exact same set of instructions so it makes me wonder how many manufacturers of wire harness's there are vs how many company's selling them.
