I need to get my 81 corvette out of my garage , I have to pull it from the rear what can I attach a cable to, to be able to pull it out it is on a slight incline so I can’t manually push it. , thanks for any help
How are you going to get it to the shop after it is out of garage? If having it towed, I'd just call the towing company, explain where the car is, they can take it from there I am sure.

spring isnt the best idea. If you can jack it up I would wrap a tow strap around the front of the rear diff and come off low under the strut rod bracket.YOu could block it with wood to get the point lower under the diff so you dont get near the rear valence The force of the pull would be straight back on the mounting points of the diff which is the snubber and the sombrero bolts. If it isnt locked up its probably under a hundred pounds of pull since its rolling. If you pull on the spring the force is on the spring ears on the diff. They are week and break easily pulling horizontally, they are made for vertical force..
pulling on the shock mounts like in the pic, you would want to pull both equally and have a long strap on each so you arent pulling towards the center. Those are low and easy to get to but you have to pull straight back. Another point would be to wrap around the strut rod bracket, not the rods, again is low but hard to get too.

thank you very much that sound more supported than the spring
