I’m getting ready to put my dash back in,but as I was taking it out about a year ago,I broke the corner on passenger side, that fits against windshield glass, what to use, super glue, gorilla clue, hot clue,or some type silicone or some type adhesive, this is on my 1981,so it’s pretty stiff.
Me; I use super glue for this type of repair, I also put a layer of fiberglass cloth on the backside (not seen when installed) to give the repair some strength since this is a edge to edge glue joint.
What I figured out when I put a new pad in my 78 is that the long diagonal crease was put there to allow the installer to bend the corners a little bit so they could squeeze the pad into place. Once in place there is no stress on that corner piece at all. It is just a filler for the corners. Put the pad in place then I would just put a dab of epoxy under it to hold it in place, and a little more along the broken edge if you think you need it. Just to fill in the cracks when you get it in place. If you put too much it will just draw attention to the line.

I save this post below from 1971CorvetteII in case I get ambitious about repairing my own. He mentions this product..... do you think that might work?
