hey friends is there a part number on these , and if there is where would it be, no its not something you pee thru ,it goes around the 68 to 74 gas tank neck!!!
In 45 years of dealing in Corvette parts, I don't ever recall seeing an original filler neck boot with a permanent part number molded into it. From my experience they typically came from Chevrolet with either a tag and the yellow ink stamp part number like the one in BKarol's picture, or they had a blue and white GM Genuine Parts label glued onto them.
The yellow ink stamp part number was quite common on parts. I have some NOS door hinges and they have the part number on them in yellow ink too. I've seen plenty of others identified with a yellow ink stamp, but I'm having a senior moment right now and can't think of any other examples.
