2026 Corvette of the Year Finalist - Modified
2025 Restomod of the Year
Default C3 Restomod in Progress

Hi All. Have been using a lot of good info on this forum, as well as a lifetime of car hobby tinkering to launch a C3 restomod project. Acquired a '72 in January of 2025 and have been working on it ever since. Chassis is done and waiting for the body to come back from the paint shop. Hopefully next week. Will post some more in the C3 forum when things get really interesting

General specifications:
Gen V LT1 from a 2018 Corvette, wet sump.
Tremec T56 Magnum
Holley Terminator X Max EFI
Ridetech coilovers and suspension
Wilwood 14" rotors and brakes
Detroit Speed wiper door and headlight actuator conversion.
Holley 12.3 Prodash
Borgeson Power Steeing
Hardwire PDM28 power distribution module
CCW LM20 wheels
.. and an lot more

Default Additional photos

Hi back to all! Here are a few more detail photos. Final blocking is being done at the paint shop. Mocked up Dewitt's radiator, Vintage Air condenser and oil cooler on old core support. Worked up a nice dual air filter setup. Mocked up center console idea. Body should be back next week. Paint is going to be Chrysler Fathom Blue Metallic.

Is that a Holley accessory drive and water pump? I noticed the heater hose outputs clear your upper control arm. The stock WP is stuffed against the arm, which forced me to drill and tap the pump for new outlets, and cap off the originals.

Yes, a Holley mid-mount setup. Very compact and well engineered.

Man that's gonna look awesome! Mopar always had an awesome color selection. I've seen a few C3s wearing various Mopar colors, and they always work well with the C3 body lines.
