Default Lights in rear compartments

[img alt="Has anyone installed lights in the 3 rear compartments that turn on when the pump open them? I was thinking some kind of rope light or something. I am going to move my firebox and relays into one for easier access and thought a light would be nice.

Well, the earlier cars have a light in the center box. Not certain what pump your talking about. Putting a light over the battery may be overkill.
And Firebox???
OK

Bottom line.. a small plunger switch installed in the door frame would be simple and serve your needs.
any number of lighting ideas could work.
Really doesn't matter if anyone else has done this.
What matters is what switches and lighting are available to you.
Your talking about a realitivly simple little project.
Best of luck with it. And in the future perhaps type your messages on here. My spelling and English skills pretty much suck. But at least people can understand me most of the time.
