I am looking at a numbers matching 68 with the 427/435 tri power intake. 4 speed. Original color was British green poly, but was professionally painted yellow. Manual steering and brakes. Black interior is perfect. Both tops are included also. I need an idea of value? I hope this is okay to post here. Thanks. Mike

Reason: Add pictures
A 68 convertible with a 427 tri-power motor and 4-speed transmission can be a very desirable, valuable car.
BUT, without a lot more information and photos, anyone posting a $ amount is just making a guess.
So please, more info and photos!
Regards....
(my guess... somewhere between $1000 and $100,000.)

I'll start...Far north of $30,000. Heres Hagertys values....it looks like it could use a good detailing to clean up the interior, hopefully the soft top is in good condition
If it runs well and everything works $45-50K. Color change will discourage purists but I like the current color better than green.
I think you’re light…
As long as the engine stamp pad and the trim tag pass muster (neither of which we’ve seen yet), you’re probably looking at roughly double that, maybe $80,000 - $90,000 range (even with the color change). This car looks really complete and from the photos, looks very presentable.

I concur with Stan, $45 - $50 very light. Color change if it's a super nice show quality job, won't bother a lot of people. Yellow also being much nicer then green on this car. Love to see more pics & some of the pad & vin.
I have a similar 69 vert. Original LeMans blue… painted black. Real Deal L71. Casting numbers and date are perfect, but the Block was decked. Most likely original motor, but can’t be proven.
I wouldn’t let it go over a penny less than 55.5k … And even at that price, I would have sellers remorse. Now that’s today’s value based on a 5 to 10 foot paint job. She’s about to go in for some paintwork to bring her closer to show quality, & at that point, it’s 60 K or it’s mine. Wrong color or not.
At the end of the day, you have to ask yourself how much money it’s worth to you to let it go, and that’s the price of the car.
