Renegade Update
After a VERY long hiatus, it is going to happen. If you are interested, I have engaged with a foundry that IS going to do some test pours soon. I will have to check for quality of pours, finish and how our machining quality, fitment etc... I still have a little ways to go before I pull the trigger full blast, but at least the project is moving forward. I have all the tooling weighed and waiting on the foundry to send me a shipping quote so I can get the tooling out of here. I hope this helps to all the people asking this question.

Nope! The interest is already out there on the internet and this forum in numerous threads, just wanting to clarify the info for all the CFi owners. I'm NOT trying to sell anything on the forum since I'm no longer a vendor.
The original 302 Z28 2x4 cross-ram had ports sized for 8000 rpm.
The 1982-4 CFI crossfire version was similar, just the ports were much smaller, good for like 4000 rpm.
They are a major HP choke point.
The Renegade is somewhere in-between.
The long intake runners help TQ production, like a tunnel ram, or an individual runner DCOE. DZ302 2x4 Cross-Ram
82-84 GM Cross-Fire Intake...very small runner cross section
Renegade CrossFire...huge flow increase in runner cross-section vs GM Cross-Fire
Small blocks have all most of the really cool intakes
TPI is the coolest of them all. After I'm done with my Cuda I'm thinking of revisiting the TPI with a Vortec style base plate and a different engine management system for my Blueprint 350/341 HP.
