I don't know how often you expect to do this. There are dozens of enclosed car hauling trailers on Facebook Marketplace for ~$7500-. And more new ones that you can rent for a month for $1000-. I have an open trailer I'd use (check the forecast, pick a sunny day), but you could buy or rent an enclosed trailer, haul it yourself, and then sell the trailer back, and come close to breaking even.

Plus, you'll have a fun story to tell!

I used Mike also. great guy and knows what he's doing. He hauled a corvette and boxes of parts from New Hampshire to California for me.

That is very unfortunate, even using a so called BIG name carrier. What if that would have been the carrier I recommend? Theirs a body shop that is twenty minutes south of the op that painted my car. I’m a bit gun shy now with throwing out recommendation’s. What if….
