Back when I used to work at a car wash we used compressed air to blow around the windows, the side mirrors, and gas cap before wiping them dry. It’s impressive how much water will hide in there. I could imagine how much corrosion it could lead to if it’s left alone. I still do that on all my cars today, around the headlights and tail lights too.
During the body work phase I used my leaf blower to blow off dust that the mirka didn't pick up this saved from firing up the air compressor. Also for cleaning up or blowing out the garage prior to hosing it out.
OMG Pierson, I’m starting a GoFundMe to build you a garage!
I appreciate the concern, but the car lives inside most of the time. Only got caught in a surprise snowstorm the once. Luckily I made it back in before any salt was put out on the roads, which is the real frame killer.
If the housing market ever improves I’d like to have my own through.

ok, I feel better. Do you have to be careful with those side pipes burning your leg?

Burned myself the very first time I drove it after putting them on. Since then the muscle memory keeps me stepping wide whenever I get out. Haven’t had an issue since.
