3. install the dash harness and rest of carpet
I'd love to start sanding by spring and prepare for paint.
Yea I know, better get it in gear. Holidays slowing me down.....I'll miss my annual sleigh ride
Santa and Mrs. Claus riding around town on Xmas Eve (regardless of weather). People and kids freak out!

Moving Santa Cruz to north of Seattle and I need to get this thing running for the first time in 9 years. With a project house (finally sold!) dragging me down, I haven't had the time or energy. Might relent and let somebody else do the work for once, but it'd be really nice to at least get the gas tank in and have it running so it's easier to load on the trailer! Had it cranking over and rebuilt the carb earlier this year.
• Brake work to get better stopping power and improved parking brakes. Calipers are good so really just pads and rotors.
• Driver seat upholstery before it gets bad.
• Door weather strip replacement.
Likely be more to do as I go as always seems to happen.
Replace oil pan and timing cover to get rid of the stupid weepy chrome and seal the thing up.
Send the balancer out for refurb
Valve seals
Replace the radiator
Install HiFlow Performance side pipes and replace the OEM style covers
Clean and detail paint everything I can get my hands on
When that's done the 68 Cutlass sitting next to it gets new seat foam, carpets and Speedhut gauges.

Refinish the shifter console plate and changeout the cig lighter for a USB outlet
Take my seats apart and inspect them, clean the frames up, and repair as needed
Two decisions need to be made: 1) long hood or short hood (which means I need to also gather all the wiper door equipment) and 2) to build or buy the big block for the car (had been leaning towards buying a 496 crate motor but now questioning that)
Replace the tach and speedometer/ clean up those housings/ brace/ etc...
Install the rebuilt column
I'd like to install the new harnesses but am thinking that might be a better spring project
