Was able to work a deal on a good friends '68 today, drivetrain is nom, car shows 22k miles. Originally and L71/M21 4.11 geared car. was also optioned with F41. Still retains its EA springs in the front it got swapped to a 9 leaf rear at some point. November built car, fairly unmolested with the exception of the drivetrain. Lucky to be able to have a shot at it.

Plan is to put some miles on the car yes, Please view the letter from GM when the cars original engine was hurt with 13k miles in '71. I'm pulling the engine that's in it back out. building another one as we speak to get back in the car.

car has protect-o-plate but its a replacement in the original owners name so i don't see an engine designation on it, unless vettes don't have that on the plates. Its my first vette.
