Default What are these things called?

Hi guys. What are these plastic things called? There are 4 that are used to hold the rear license plate bezel in place. Any idea what size they are? Also, what is the proper fastener used to hold the bezel in place? My car had slotted screws, not Phillips. I would think Phillips would be correct?

You can also purchase them at any local auto store like Auto Zone, Advanced Auto, Napa etc. They are usually in the help section in blister packs. Jerry

Hello,
I believe you'll find that typically there were just the nylon nuts in the top 2 holes.
I guess Chevrolet saved 8 cents on each car.
Here's a photo showing the screws typically used to secure the bezel.
Regards....

Slight difference between original (left) and what's typically available now.

Alan, I think that he means the smaller four plastic inserts that hold the bezel on. The Corvette dealers should sell them, I hope. Lou.

Loup is correct as that is what OP is pointing at. They are smaller and you can get them from the usual suppliers. Even when you get the right ones they are not easy to install!!!
Here they are at Zip https://www.zip-corvette.com/68-73-r...yThzU6mijsZRpM
