I just got a Holley mechanical fuel pump for gen 1 sbcs, but it seems like there’s no space to route the fuel lines, since the connections almost hit the frame, does anyone have any tips on how to run them?
Did you purchase a fuel pump to fit your year of Corvette? Or did you purchase a generic Hotrod 350 Chevy pump?
Just because a part fits a Chevy, doesn't mean it fits your Chevy!
Just a note on fuel pumps, I saw above you ordered the newer style. Your fuel pump appears to be the bolt-on cup style that ran through '66. In '67 Corvettes went to crimp cups which are smaller -- and probably allow more room for connections. These were used on the last of the 327s and 427s.
If you loosen the screws that hold the 2 parts together it rotates. I had the same pump on my 80 with a small block. After I rotated it the lines fit perfect.
