Default Need help identifying Eckler’s part

Looking for some help. I rebuilt/restored this car back in 99-01. I know the rear quarters are Eckler’s ZL-1. It was my first Corvette and was pretty rough when I got it (wrecked and fire damage). Were they 4 inch flares? I’m trying to recreate this car with my ‘73. I already have the tilt front end…. The wheels I used were from Wheel Vintiques and were 15x10 with 4.25” BS. The tires were 295/50r15. Any help identifying the size of the quarters would be appreciated.

My goals are to run a 295/50r15 (or at least no summer only tires) and have the wheel/tire about a half to 3/4 inch inside of the widest part of the fender. (Restomod 🤔 retromod look with some new tech)

Chris

In this pic, above, that’s a 15x8 wheel with 4” BS.

I have Ecklers 2004 spring summer catalog no. 204. In it they list:

1968-79 ZL-1 quarter panel flares.

Increases wheel well width 2 " wider than stock.

Modification needed when installing on 1974-79 $329/pair

If that is what you bought back then.
No other info.

Yeah, that’s the problem. This car was built/modified in the 70’s or 80’s, I believe. I got it in 99. It had been wrecked and had an engine fire. I rebuilt it, fixing all the damage and wiring and paint. Since the Eckler fenders are no longer available, I’m trying to find out if the other shops 4” flares are comparable by size because I want to try to duplicate the car. All of the advertised 2” flares do not look like much of a difference over stock. I want the retro 70’s look without going to “Summer Only” tires.
