I knew it didn't sound or feel right when hitting bumps. it felt like metal to metal. Sure enough it was. Someone over the years must have replaced the bushings on the trailing arms but forgot to put the sleeve in. Took a week but i rebuilt both trailing arms with bearings, seals, spindles, bushings and u joints. What a difference. Well worth the effort.
