Steering column rebuild problem
My 69 was fine ,i removed the tilt/tele steering column and had it rebuilt a reputable company , I re installed column and flashers are on without button pushed and no ignition . Everything was replaced from blinker switch/wires to the ignition actuator .....any thoughts

Can you feel both positions of the flasher ****? Can you pull button out? Could be the lever that the flasher **** is screwed into, came out of the recess it is mounted to in the turn signal switch. Ignition switch is probably not adjusted properly. Need the switch in the middle of the five positions when the key is turned off, not off/lock. Might have to at least drop the column down to get to the switch, but don't let it hang down with no support on wheel end.

Put my old ignition actuator back on and car started , Still have issues with no blinkers , press brake peddle and blinker lights come on , flashers are not working correct seems like the flasher button is not smooth and only moves 1/8 of an inch or so ?????? NOTE; the new blinker wiring harness has an adapter
