Getting into my newly acquired C3 and wondering what manuals and reference material folks might recommend.
Whats publications are in your shop and near the tool box? Or, in general nearby for research, and hunting parts.
For sure, a plethora of YouTubes exist and can really provide solutions. But sometimes, more often than not I love me some old school paper pubs and books.
You should get a vacuum hose diagram so you can understand the hose routing for the headlights and the heater. I would also recommend a laminated wiring schematic for your specific year car. they usually come in color which helps a lot. And I also have a 1978 GM shop manual. It covers all the cars but there is a section for the "Y" chassis, which is the vette. Along with the assembly manual as suggested. And this forum is invaluable for the information we can share. Have fun with the new toy.

These forums have been a huge help. Don’t forget to search them too.
There’s a group on Facebook called “Budget C3 Corvette Projects”. Highly recommend joining it. In their Files section, they’ve uploaded a ton of file references for our cars as well.
