I am having my 70 convertible painted. When I purchased it there was a couple door on it but the seller gave me a conv door.
Beside the recess for the pin, are they the same?
Thanks, Joe
The door glass is different for coupe and convertibles, and the outer window wipe is different on convertibles too. I think everything else about them is the same, but because the convertible outer wipe is shorter I would take a measurement of the two openings where the wipe goes just to be sure the opening is the same length on both doors.
Hello plaid,
Is the door a 72 or later door?
The 70-71 doors don't have the horizontal 'crash beam' in them that 72 + doors have.
A small part of the beam ends can be seen in the front and rear jambs.
It would be a shame to not have the proper door for your 70 at this point.
Regards.....

Thanks, I believe the glass and wiper is from the original convertible door.
