Original 80 motor complete w/31k miles
The original motor from this 80 model was pulled out today, it has 31,850 miles on the clock. She ran great, but was only 190 h.p. and NOT enough for me. 
Its for sale. Included is everything that bolts to the motor except the alternator, and I will part with it too if the offer is right. Included is:
Air Cleaner and duct work -including piece above radiator (air inlet).
carb
manifold.
complete motor
distributor
A.I.R. pump & assoc. piping
exhaust manifolds
starter
fuel pump
harmonic balancer
oil pan
etc..
Complete motor as it was pulled .
A/C compressor and assoc brackets.
Make me an offer I can't refuse , plus shipping.
I know that forum rules are to place a $$$ amount, so to that end I am asking for $750 plus shipping OR BEST OFFER.....
Really, you can't hurt my feelings with any offer. Just PM me please and not post your offer here. Or call me (225) 910-0059 9am-9pm CST.
Rather than store it I would want someone else have it that can put it to use. Seriously considered pickling it, just dont have the space/room.

As of RIGHT NOW, this motor is still available. Dave found another deal closer to home.
Here is what I know:
The shipping estimate to Indiana from Gonzales, La. was $248....
I will sell the motor and all attaching parts EXCLUDING the air intake system for $500. You pay and arrange the shipping. The motor is in a crate and ready for shipping. Can be loaded at a business here with a forklift.
The air intake system is for sale separately. From air cleaner base to snorkel intake at radiator top with all ducts (plastic and flex) included for $250 plus shipping.
Pictures on request.
I DO NOT wish to part out the motor, buy it whole. Includes intake manifold, exhaust manifolds,starter,carb,water pump, a.i.r. pump,and distributor with plug wires,flywheel .... The motor had 31,850 miles and runs like a top with no problems.....

Let me say thank you as I just rebuilt my 80 L48 and need to put the A.I.R. system back on and your pictures are a huge help.
If anyone is buying the engine and doesn't need the A.I.R system down to the manifolds, I am willing to deal to help you recoup some $$. Damn AZ emissions!

Just to recap the current offer, since some items were changed in this thread since the beginning:

If everyone is still interested, here's what I would like to honor:
Markids77 spoke for the motor first, said that if it could be sold to someone else he would bow out. I would like for him to acknowledge that this is about to happen. Give him ONE LAST CHANCE to say he's out. A pm has been sent to him asking for his answer.
If that DOES occur , then "boltnut " has the next shot at the motor.
Pending boltnuts answer, then DZOM Z06 is next in line.
If I have heard nothing from Markids77 by midnight tonight, then boltnut is up to bat.
Can anyone else think of something more fair? Please reply if you do.
Anyone can call me if they pm me , i will send them my cell number.

Why can't you cut Markids77 some slack and let him pay you for the motor now, then the shipping later.
When you have received all of the money you can ship it to him and all is well.
I believe that is fair and that we all deserve a break when things aren't going 100% our way.
