Like you I've been looking for a set of these, a tough find. If you end up purchasing the Crane's and you'd part with the one's you have I may be interested. Either way, if it's no trouble, I'd appreciate a few pics of the covers off a car. Pics I have on cars are not as clear. Thanks!

valve covers
I am looking for a valve cover for my 1972 Corvette with a 454.
Drippers, Push in Style Oil Filler, Wire Loom at Each Spark Plug Wire, Painted not Chrome.
STILL LOOKINGThere has to be a set of these out there somewhere
It must be painted and have drippers spot welded on the inside.
I need a set, but the drivers side is really the one I need most.
The drivers side only has one hole for the PCV valve while the passenger side has two holes. Passenger side has the hole to put oil in the engine.
So, if you have one of these painted valve covers and are willing to part with it, or them, please let me know.

I have a set of these valve covers. They have the push in oil filler cap ,
AC breather cap, drippers , rubber coated clips or standoffs for the wires. I always thought they were from a big block 1972 vet but could be wrong. You were asking for painted I think but these are flash chromed. They are in very nice shape except for glue left behind from masking tape. I just joined so Havent figured out how to post pictures yet. Email me direct if you want and we can go from there. alnbam@shaw.ca
