1970 Convertible Top
Anyone have a good source for 1970 convertible tops?
I am hearing horror stories about Kee & Al Knoch.
Would like a dated top but not a requirement.
Thanks.

Al Knoch
I took my O2 Vert to Carlisle specifically to have Al Knoch do the top. Could have had it done in MD where I live. But nope, Al Knoch Corvette specialist is what I wanted. The installers didn't even know how to put the top down! When they were done it looked like an unmade bed. Told me to take it home park it in the sun and not lower it for 7 days. Did that. Looked like a half made bed. Went back to Carlisle in September for them to fix it and they made it worse. It never leaked and now it does. It looks better, but the leak and the finished product are terrible. I wouldn't recommend his company for anything.

Curious why this is in this section. Phil

Was researching convertible top replacement experiences by members. I'm not sure what I am going to do with the top on my car. Wanted to see what others have done with replacing their tops and the outcomes.

I understand that just thought it should be in general section. Phil

Probably should be in General. Perhaps the mods can move it.
