Big Block CAM and Lifters
I decided to go with a MUCH more expensive roller cam so I no longer need these.
Crane Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft for Chevy Big Block 134561 (Summit $136)
Crane Anti-Pump Up Hydraulic Lifters 99277-16 (Summit $83)
Still in boxes.
$125 for both OBO plus shipping.
$100 plus shipping....

Nope. Should be fine. The other one I got is more aggressive. This is the exact one I had in my engine before I decided to go roller.
Here is my Vette with this cam.

Next question, would this cam work fine with stock heads and valves ?

Just curious - listened to your video - sounds great ! Can the cam and lifters be used with factory push rods? Are the parts new - if not how many miles on them?

As for the push rods... I don't know the answer to that. The cam and lifters are new, in the box, never used. I bought them as a replacement for the exact one in the engine because I was rebuilding it. I changed my mind mid rebuild and did a roller cam retrofit. The cam has a .553/.571 lift. Do you know the length of the factory push rods? I still have the ones I removed. I'll throw them in free if you want. Don't know the mileage on them.
