Default Chrome outside mirrors

I bought a pair from Ebay last week and they just got here. They look great and are a direct repro from the original mirror (Mine only has one on the left side) but without age and pits!

My Q is about the differences if any, between left and right side mirrors. Both of these new boxes I have here are labelled as 'Left Side' mirrors. Is there a difference?

yes there is a diffrence, try it on the right and you'll see. the piece that you put on the car body first is also diffrent.

Paul,
I love my mirror on the right side, you should still go ahead and do it.

You sound upset! Did you get two mirrors for the same side?

Is it the small head or large head mirror?

I take it that it's a non-sport mirror?

Has anyone ever seen a CHROME SPORT MIRROR?? Would it look cool, or like crap?

If you use a RH mirror you may want to get convex mirror (objects are closer than they appear) glass installed. It will be much more useful. You need to find a glass shop that will custom cut a larger convex mirror - many are reluctant to do it, but if you push they should take car of you.

If you put it on people walking toward you on the passenger side can fix their hair

They are both LARGE head mirrors ... but as the other post said, the part that attaches to the door clearly says LEFT.
