Talk to your bank, many offer online fraud protection on Visa Check Cards....

I would not expect much help from Paypal but it's worth talking to them, too.......

good luck and use a credit card next time...

Amex is like carrying a huge sledgehammer. Had a problem with a satellite dish install. Two days after they put it up, it quit working. The company said it would take 1 month to get back out to fix it. I called Amex, who called the vndor and threatened to debit them back. The sat dish company fixed it the next day.

I've never had to do that buying parts for my Vette, but then again, most of the money spent on the car went to VanSteel, Olivier(GrandsportC3),Bowtie Overdrives, Zip, and Ecklers.

plenty of email history but I paid via PayPal which comes out of my chrcking account via debit
You may want to call PayPal, they can be helpfull if you explain things to them. I would suggest using a cc card.. If you pay in full every month, no fees... And you should have pne for car rentals, hotel stays, etc.. etc.. At least you have immediate recourse and someone to speak with.

I would call Paypal. Since you have not recieved them, they never told you about the backorder until you cancelled the order, etc, etc.. AND if you didn't actually get the items, then I think there may be some help there.

Call the Better Business Berueau as well (if they are members), and report them to whatever state agency oversees them (if any in TX) $33 is high

And next time use a supporting vendor, or JEG's or Summitt

Good Luck

I would try paypal, even though they may not help...sometimes it will do some good, I had a dispute and ordered them to retract the payment and get my money back, I was instantly sent the correct stuff.

You might not have read it but they are heat treated so they are more. You get what you pay for.

I am going to have to agree with you on that one, apparently the average househould spends between 105 and 110% of it's income meaning that the new Durango in the driveway is more important than going broke
