Could anyone post or e-mail me a pic of where the cooling lines attach to the tranny?
I'm having trouble finding a fitting that's small enough to attach it to the lower cooling line port. The port is only about 3/4 inch from the tunnel..
I was already thinking in cutting the tunnel so that I can easier attach a fitting to connect the hose and then cover the hole with sheet aluminum..
Check these out: one of mine looks a little bent up, but the pressures and temps are fine so it must not be restricting flow. they don't show what happens as the lines run toward the front. Mine run right next to the oil pan.
I'm thinking of getting one of those permacool coolers with a fan on it so I can mount it back there anyhow and not have to run long pipes.

I agree. Didn't really notice how bad until I looked at the pic. I took that shot not even looking through the veiw finder. On jackstands it's hard to see up in there physically.
I'll put a new pipe on it when I decide where to mount the tranny cooler. If not, I might at least put a union on it and replace the end. I don't think I can replace the whole line with the motor and tranny in the car, but I could be wrong.
one problem is that he has a fixed tranny crossmember. My crossmember is obviously not stock, but many forum members have used their stock crossmembers on the 200r4's.

the tail is what i ment,,, when the engine move's (and that baby will) is it going to hit ?????? cutting may be best
That's what I'll probably end up doing.. I'll only cut a 2 x 2" section and cover it with a sheet aluminum piece that I'm going to rivet or screw on...
Luckily the interior isn't in the car.. so that shouldn't be a problem...
