Well...the T5 was on it's way from Colorado to here. Got here (according to FedEx tracking number) last Thursday. Said it was out for delivery Thursday afternoon. For some reason it went back to the FedEx sort facility and has sat there ever since. No response from FedEx, no explaination...nothing. Emailed the seller and he called them. They stated to him that it was a "security issue". He told them if it wasn't delivered to me today, they would have more of an issue. I called them myself tonight (the 1 800 FedEx #) and they called the local FedEx sort facilty. She comes back to me and say's that there isn't a whole lot of information but it appears the delivery person "may have" damaged it and they are investigating. I got a great deal on this T5 and will not likely get another for the same price. My question is "what is my recourse"? What is FedEx's responsability if they were the ones to damage it? I want a the WC T5 I had coming because I know if my money is refunded from the seller, I will never find another one for this price. Thoughts?

Your recourse is to recoup the amount it is insured for. That's it. You can't collect "future value" from FedEx.

Hopefully it was insured for a good value if it was truly worth more than you paid for it

Just wondering how much damage can there be? Maybe you can ask Fedex to just pay to repair it only. That might be cheaper to Fedex and a way around the problem. In any case I hope this works out to your advantage.

not sure...tempted to go by the facility and check it out myself. Seems as though it would take a BIG drop to damage something like this...No?

I deal with Fed-Ex on a regular basis, and if you show up they will probably let you look at it.If if was insured(hopefully) they will only pay the amount it was insured for.If they pay the claim they send it to a claims center and you might be able to buy it back as salvage
