The mexican springs I have came from CC about 4 years ago and need 8" bolts. Another 7 leaf steel bought from another well known vendor was the same way.
I heard of Eaton spring and it was mixed reports, sounds like the rest.
I don't like the glass springs too much so there's not much to choose from.
I would be concerned buying a used spring off ebay.

We use 6.5" bolts and they work fine. Sometimes we go w/the 8" bolts when they want the car lower. The guy w/the Eaton spring, we had to use 10" bolts and cut them but he wanted his car lowered.
