[VIDEO] My new 406 engine..
The sound quality sucks.. Need to get a new camera...
Anyway -here's the video...
http://www.corvetteforum.net/c3/gran.../engine406.wmv
I do have a MPEG version of the video, but I can't host it.. If anybody wants the mpeg version, I can send it as e-mail, unless somebody can host it for me...

Right now, I'm trying to install a temporary driveshaft.. I'm waiting for a new rear end setup for which I'll have a new driveshaft made. That can still take weeks
.. Inbetween - I'm trying to install a regular driveshaft, but I'd need to change out my pinion yoke because of the u-joint size on the driveshaft. I already tried a 400 ft/lbs impact wrench and the nut that holds the pinion yoke in place just won't come out...
There will be burnout videos.. but not from the street.. I only do burnouts at the track (or in front of the NCM
)

it soulds a lot better in real life.. The sound quality is really bad.. It might have something to do that the car is in the garage and not outside..

open sidepipes.. That's what I've always used
Tried to set the idle and the engine won't idle below 1100 RPM.. but that's not a surprise considering the cam duration
